Fresh Flowers Lifestyle Hack

How about a lifestyle hack? I have a weakness for fresh flowers that I try not to indulge on a regular basis, especially in our current economy. Groceries are far more important, right? Right. Enter one of my favorite things: Real Touch Flowers. Have you discovered them? I’ve been a fan for some time, but last week my daughter showed me an ingenious hack that has taken my Real Touch obsession over the top.

I was at Jessica’s house when I commented on the beautiful “fresh” flowers, or so I thought, that were sitting on her office desk. I mean, they were sitting in water after all, and their little stems weren’t symmetrical, and nothing about them shouted artificial. Only they were! Jessica had hit on the idea of trimming the stems so they weren’t all neat and perfect, and then adding water to the clear vase that held them to give them that much more of a fresh flower look. As Jessica said, “I mean, they’re artificial, it’s not like you can hurt them.” She had a point.

I was fooled, and now I’m sold! I may need to team up with Real Touch! If you order some, tell ‘em Shellie sent you. It may help with negotiations. LOL!
