Brown Sugar Bacon with Anything Recipe

Let me get right to it. I’m here to spread the news about Brown Sugar Bacon! This stuff is crazy good. You can serve it as is, you can use it to take a BLT over the top, or you can crumble it up and ramp up the flavor of your favorite bacon-added casseroles. The possibilities are endless. I know, I know, I had a lot of you at bacon, right? Here’s the recipe, if you want to call it that. It’s really just a few simple steps.

Ingredients

Bacon: 1 pound Bacon

1/3 cup brown sugar

1 tablespoon black pepper

2 teaspoons cayenne pepper

Begin by preheating the oven to 400. Next, line a cookie sheet with foil for easy cleanup. Step three, arrange a pound of bacon in a single layer and sprinkle it with brown sugar mixture, flip, and repeat.

That’s it for prep! All that’s left to do is bake it for fifteen to eighteen minutes. Watch carefully, y’all oven temps vary. You’ll want to remove when the bacon is crisp but not burned!  The other day I added this to my corn casserole. YUM! But, seriously, there’s not much it doesn’t improve. You can eat it like candy. I don’t recommend it, but you could. Let me know what dishes you find to serve with this deliciousness. I’m all ears. Brown Sugar Bacon, it’s good eating from my kitchen to yours!

Hugs,

Shellie
