The Ride of your Life
On a Disney vacation a few years ago, the two-year-old boys wanted to ride a Surrey Bike. Of course, we, the adults thought. “Looks like fun,” and “Should be easy” were the words we uttered.
Can I just tell you we had one grandparent, an uncle, an aunt, and two great-grandparents pedaling like our lives depended on it to bring the “power” needed to move that surrey down the road? The two little boys giggled and laughed their way around the resort while the adults gave their all to give the boys a new experience.
And so it is with our Heavenly Father. Ephesians 3:20 says, “God is able to do exceedingly, abundantly, and above all, you could ever ask, imagine, or think, according to His power at work in you.” Please don’t miss the end of that verse—the key to the whole verse lies in who is doing the pedaling. If you let him God will take you on the ride of your life!
Have an awesome week. Hugs, Chrys
