Have you ever been rescued? Like, for real, rescued. With mass media on top of everything, we see rescues up close and personal. Right? A family trapped in flood waters, a child who fell down a hole, a building on fire with people inside. ⁣

As a nation, a rescue is one of those things that brings us together. No one debates whether or not a child down in a hole should be rescued. We cheer, together, no matter what political team we’re on or what church we attend or how much money we have. A rescue is a time to celebrate. ⁣
