Love Language

Play is the love language for all kids. Often my g-grandkids ask me to follow them up a slide or under a tent or behind a couch as we play together. Playing with kids often begins with following—in, around, through, on top off. This grandma has to think twice before I follow. But, generally, off I go.
Jesus also asked us to “follow” Him—in, around, through, on top of—it’s a lot. Does following Jesus put us in some tight places? Absolutely. Can following Jesus make us uncomfortable? Does following Jesus be scary? For sure.
It’s a surrendered heart that controls the actions of both a loving grandmother and a sold out believer. Following anyone requires a great big “YES” and then diving in, no questions asked. I pray I’m always as quick to follow Jesus Christ as I am a toddler. Don’t you?
Have an awesome week. You are so loved. Hugs, Chrys
