Monday Motivational: Hard To See

What a difference 24 hours can make! Last week I had a severe UTI (So sorry if that is much info). One night I spent hours in agony. There was nothing I could do but wait for medication to bring me some relief. And it did. The following night, 24 hours later, I attended a worship night, comfortably. The contrast did not escape me. Relief from pain is a game changer.

Often it’s hard to see God in the hurting moments. Not just the physical hurts, but the mental, spiritual, and emotional ones too. The nature of hurting causes us to feel so alone. While it’s very sad, it’s comforting to remember Jesus suffered in all these areas too. If you are going through a hard time, let me just say, I’m sorry. It’s not fun. But, you’re not alone. God is right there, holding your hand.
